In Blender 2.79 I have this option where you can toggle between binary and ASCII, I don't see it in Blender 4.1;

However when I export it to version FBX6.1 ASCII (available in Blender 2.79) then I do get the animation.

Now it is probably not the intended method, because with the ASCII export my mesh doesn't get imported to the model editor. So you'll first need to export your meshes as above. When saving the editor will crash but the .mdl is saved. Then export again in ASCII for the animations and when you save that the editor creates the .ani file.

Honestly I expected you were already doing that. And not (like me) creating animations position by position manually in the .ani files .

For the Blender part you can best look to youtube tutorials, but probably you already know that.

Exporting I discovered is simple, check out this vid, I just gave it a shot and it worked on my side. That is until I saved the file in the model editor.

Working on the asset now, this is the collection that will be included.

Also I was thinking of a ballast trailer. Rico S. pls let me know how you managed the rear axles to steer properly.

Next are a new lightbar for the Polizei and a less easy, even though it looks so simple, repaint for a Notarzt.

The latter is based on a very common Herpa model #004109, let me know if you also have or had this for your model RR, just curiousity from my end. Thanks

Will the standalone BMW 70ies, BMW Taxi, BMW 8 packages and so on will become obsolete with this as it contains all models?

This set will be complimentary to my earlier mods. But you do give me an idea to merge the '70s and '80s to one... will give that some thought, but then probably later since this set is almost done.

As far as the BMW 8 series, a few of my followers have an exclusive preview of this, some of the colours/configurations will remain only part of the exclusive preview.

The asset menu for the 80's Biemers is already almost done .
