Indeed N0neGiv3N that's why I think it is good to get such in place before TPF3 is here ![]()

The main person to acknowledge is the modder. I mean I can create a list from all the mods I downloaded, but besides a lot of work that does not say the modders will stick to the use of the naming I find and I could identify someone incorrect. Of course others should have the decency not to use a prefix already in use by someone else and preferably modders are consistent in using their prefix.
The benefit of such a list is that A it reduces risk for mod collisions and B will allow users to find who to contact in case of questions or issues. There it is especially useful when the prefix is used also for filenames and sub folders since those are visible in the debug mode and sdtout.
I think something like this table (feel free to copy and expand):
Mod prefix Modder (Transportfever.net user) Contact via Remarks bko_ dview Message me on transportfever.net -
Hi all, after just seeing Siri 's last Youtube I want to ask if and how we can create and manage a list of acknowledged modders and the prefixes we use for our models.
Personally I'm using "bko_" for every mod I release. I do not only use it for the mod file itself but also for just about every folder or file within the mod that is created by me. This makes it very easy to recognise my mod files in debug mode and crash logs.
Now I think for TPF3 we should make a list of 'acknowledged' modders and the prefix each uses. Can we do so, e.g. in a Lexicon entry, and more important how can we maintain such? Maybe only moderators should be able to adjust the list(?) or can we allow users to only add unique records to a table.. If we have a database I know such can be done, but I'm unsure to what extend the Lexicon has these capabilities.
What are your ideas on this?

Was sind Ihre Ideen dazu?

I'm reworking my cargo options for the Iveco asset (again), I've now made it so that the suitable cargo items stretch when the lowbed trailer is extended. Also added a variant of a support trailer for use on site (and a repaint of the office shelter in SMRS livery.

oh oh, global warming hit hard there

Katzer 3 material variants will have to do for now

-
I'll make the trailer home the fall back extra gimmick for this pack, so you'll also have it as a normal, in use, model for e.g. a camp site

-
There are days that I don't really like myself...
just when I got to the last vehicle for the random selection and looking for a suitable cargo item I somehow got to create yet another one... and it's not like there aren't plenty of options I could choose from... but well guess there will be a trailer park home in the cargo options now then... -
Chill_LP no worries, there's no need for old fashioned chains and straps, all the loads are secured using high-tech magnetic power

-
Meanwhile I got to adding the random selection to the asset. But these trailers look a bit plain without cargo, so I'm selecting a cargo option for each of them;

Respect! Just animating the tracks only is a lot of work. I'll admit that I've started on one but got tired of it before it was really moving anywhere.

The ballast is indeed from Rico's set, it will be a dependency for my mod that his mobile crane is loaded. I have looked at repainting one to a Mammoet livery but haven't got it to what I want it to be so parked that idea. So I'm using the Mammoet truck to carry the extras for Rico's Black Widow livery.

I'm back working on the lowbed trailer set for the Iveco Eurocargo. Once again I had some difficulty to find my brake
so quite some cargo variance is added...Now I still need to add the trucks to the asset and do some fine tuning like license plates, descriptions, cargo capacities and what not more. It will be some time before I'll finish, I just hope my brake will work on time

A minor update for the airport tug, only now I noted a typo had slipped in causing the mod title not to display,
https://www.transportfever.net…/7751-large-aircraft-tug/
It's now also available on Steam

Why?
your cursor was probably over a residential building, so the tag "Wohnhaus" shows in the screenshot

I was off course just kidding
